IBM Seals $62 Million Cloud Deal With U.S. Army

The U.S. Army has enlisted IBM (NYSE: IBM) to “build, manage and operate a cloud solution for greater IT flexibility, efficiency and performance” for the Redstone Arsenal outside Huntsville, Alabama. The Army’s contract with IBM to build and offer ongoing infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) support is a one year agreement, with an option for four additional one-year extensions. …read more
